Well, in FLL, most of it doesn't really feel like work. But...
Hayden used a team button from the tournament to recreate a model made out of legos. Pretty awesome! It was so much fun meeting other teams!
For this team builder a marker was held in a ring with five stings attached. We had to each hold the end of the string and write the word "team" all together as a team. We all wrapped the string around our hands so that our hands were really close to the marker. It made it so much easier! Our coach said, "But you have to hold the end of the string!" We all replied with big smiles "We ARE holding the end. We just aren't holding it by the end ONLY!" We love being creative on team builders. They are one of our favorite parts of our meetings.
Big team discussion focusing on the two chassis prototypes. Both were really cool. We went through the list of must have characteristics we decided on before building the chassis and compared how well the prototypes met these. We first decided if we wanted to start from scratch and build a completely new one combining ideas, or choose one and modify. We decided to choose Paul McFerrari Crab (not a name every one likes...) and make modifications to it. WE'll start duplicating soon.
